Tim is responsible for the management of projects involving the design and implementation of global regulatory strategies for the development, evaluation and marketing of nutraceutical products (Food Supplements, Foods with Health Claims, Novel Foods and Herbal Medicinal Products). He closely follows the evolution of new regulations in Europe, USA and emerging markets.
Tim has a broad expertise and more than 10 years experience in obtaining marketing authorization for Dietary/Food Supplements, EFSA submissions, PARNUTS, Novel Foods, Herbal and Borderline Products including THMPD in Europe, as well as statutory regulatory requirements in global markets including the USA.
Tim is equally well versed in medicinal products marketing authorization procedures (NA, MRP, DCP and CP), and has significant experience with the development of Personal, Health and Beauty Care products (cosmetics, deodorants and antiperspirants), as well as Medical Devices and OTC medicines.
Prior to joining Voisin Consulting, Tim was Regulatory Affairs Director, Consumer Health Care International (CHCI) for Vifor Pharma, where he provided directional leadership for the implementation of all aspects of Regulatory Affairs related to Consumer Health Care products in global markets. and successfully expanded the experience he had gained as Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager for Procter & Gamble.
Tim earned a BSc (Honours) degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, followed by an MSc degree in Pollution & Environmental Control from the University of Manchester, and a post-graduate diploma in Mental Health at the University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom.
Tim contributes to pertinent regulatory affairs topics in scientific/medical journals; has delivered lectures to regulatory affairs organizations, and is a member of The Organisation for Professionals in Regulatory Affairs (TOPRA).
